Should I Keep It? is a small local-first decluttering tool meant mainly for general and adult users.
Most board data stays in your browser on your own device. The app uses browser storage so your board, item names, notes, tags, pile setup, and settings can persist between visits on the same browser.
What you can do
This app runs entirely in your browser as your own private workspace. There is no account creation, no newsletter, and no advertisements. You have full control to:
- Create custom sorting spaces (like Keep, Donate, Sell, Trash, or anything else).
- Add items with #tags and personal notes to help you decide.
- Attach local images to your items for visual sorting.
- Export your final lists as a text file or an image snapshot.
- Customize the app's look and feel with different color themes.
All of these features run locally. If you attach images, those remain local to your device and are never uploaded to a server.
Cookies and tracking
We believe your decluttering journey is your own business. This site is completely free of tracking pixels, analytics, and advertising cookies. The only data saved is your actual board content, and that stays safely stored on your own machine.
Changes to this policy
If we ever fundamentally change how this app works, this page will be updated to reflect that. Until then, your data is yours!
