Use this checklist with the board: add each item, tag it by room, and move it into the pile that matches your decision.

Fast start checklist

  1. Pick one small area: one drawer, one shelf, one bag, or one box.
  2. Add every item to the board before making final decisions.
  3. Use tags like #closet, #papers, #sentimental, #moving, or #maybe.
  4. Sort each item into Keep, Sell, Donate, Store, Trash, or Unsure.
  5. Export your final list so you know what action to take next.

Room-by-room prompts

Bedroom

Clothes that do not fit, extra bedding, old accessories, sentimental items, duplicate chargers, nightstand clutter.

Desk

Loose papers, notebooks, cables, pens, boxes, old devices, receipts, manuals, supplies you forgot you owned.

Kitchen

Duplicate tools, expired food, mugs, containers without lids, gadgets you rarely use, chipped dishes.

Storage

Seasonal items, moving boxes, keepsakes, decor, old hobbies, cables, mystery bins, backups.

Good enough rule

You do not have to decide everything perfectly. If an item causes stress, put it in Unsure, finish the easy items first, then return to it later.
